What does shipping from Dubai cost?
RoRo means the car is driven onto the ship. A container costs more, is closed and can carry 2 to 3 cars. Most export cars leave from Jebel Ali Port, the largest port in the Middle East.

How do I buy a car in Dubai and ship it to my country?
Send us the car you want, your budget and destination. We pass it to UAE dealers with matching cars. You agree the price with the dealer, pay their company account, and the dealer arranges the export papers and shipping from Jebel Ali.
Are Dubai cars left-hand or right-hand drive?
Most cars in the UAE are GCC-spec, left-hand drive. If your country needs right-hand drive (for example Kenya, Tanzania or Uganda), tell us and we will ask dealers for right-hand-drive stock only.
Is it free to send a request?
Yes. Sending a request is free. You only pay the dealer you choose to buy from.
How much does shipping from the UAE to Africa cost?
Published indicative RoRo prices from Jebel Ali are about USD 1,200 to 1,800 to Lagos or Tema and USD 800 to 1,200 to Mombasa. A container costs more. Import duty and clearing in your country are extra. The dealer sends an exact quote.
How long does shipping take?
Roughly 7 to 10 days to Mombasa and 18 to 25 days to Lagos or Tema, plus port clearing time.
Who do I pay?
The dealer directly, to their company bank account. MotorCar introduces you to dealers; the sale, payment and shipping are agreed between you and the dealer.
